Kristin “KJ” James was born and raised in the Nashville, TN area. Acting has always been a passion of hers. Starting on the stage as early as preschool, KJ pursued her passion into college where she received a BA in Communication with a double emphasis in Theatre and Public Relations from Mississippi State University. After college she found herself more and more drawn to voice overs. Between the Shadows is such a great book. I thought nothing could surprise me after the first book in this series. Little did I know Casi McLean would astound me again with this addition.

At first, I was lost with a name change and addition of McKenzie. Then I truly fell head over heels. I did not see a lot of things happening before they did. The last book I foresaw a lot, but in Between the Shadows I was pleasantly surprised numerous times.

Casi did an amazing job again writing such an enigmatic story. She truly knows how to draw the reader in and take them on a time loop adventure. How she developed these story lines; I have no idea! Kristin James is a great narrator as well. I’m only now realizing that there was a different narrator for each story. I truly enjoyed the narration. I could tell each character apart through the narration perfectly. They each had their distinct characteristics.

Overall the whole production was amazing. It flowed so perfectly. I didn’t get lost once and when I have the distractions of my children, it is easy to happen. I am super happy with this audiobook. I never expected to be so swept away with this series, but Casi has been able to make a fan girl out of me!

Wow! When I first started Chain Reaction, I had no idea it could get even better than before. Little did I know, it could. It was amazing!

C.L. Schneider has done such an amazing job writing this series so far. The characters are amazing! I seriously love Creed and Dahlia. I love Evan too, but those two are kick ass awesome! All of the characters are developed amazingly. It’s hard to believe even the creatures have so much detail.

To make this audiobook even better, Cassandra King does such a great job portraying these characters in her narration. Each scene is exquisitely detailed. Every time I read one of Schneider’s book, or listen to one, I feel as if I’m in the action. I love it! I can easily tell which character is which. I can feel all of the emotion behind the scenes. It’s all tangible. I can’t imagine this book being much better than it already is.

The overall production is just great. The whole book flows smoothly. The characters are amazing. The action is well portrayed and there is never a dull moment. I am enraptured in this series. Each creature and character just add to the whole story is a new and fun way. I seriously cannot wait to read the next book. Each story just gets better and better. Schneider has such a knack for writing a book that will leave the reader begging for more.

Oh my gosh!!! All I could think is it can’t be over… then I remembered book 2 is already out!! Yay! If you can’t tell I love this book.

Seriously C.L. Schneider is amazing!!! Flash Point grabbed my attention from the very first scene. I am super happy I read this book. The writing is exquisite. I felt as if I was in this other world and I honestly can’t wait to journey back. Schneider has given each character so much personality and this story just comes to live with every scene.

Cassandra King is great at narrating each character. I can sense the behaviors of each as much as I can hear them. I feel as if I’m right there throughout the entire story. The whole production flows seamlessly. I’m not sure if I’ve heard this narrator before, but I do know I enjoyed listening to her throughout this adventure.

All and all this is an amazing story. I can’t go through all of the characters because it would take too long and I’d probably give too much information, but you will absolutely love Dahlia and her kick-ass crew. They are all amazing. In a world of the otherworldly there is no way to not fall in headfirst. Definitely a must read in my book. Now onto book 2. I’m way too excited!!!

Let me start by pointing out my husband hated hearing this story. Want to know why? So, my name is Alyssa and the girl that is killed shared my name. Then her sister’s name is Emily and my best friend that is more like my sister is also named Emily. Talk about coincidence. Now with that being said… I absolutely loved this story!!!

Casi McLean did an amazing job writing Reign of Fire. Little did she know that I would read this and connect on a different level. The characters are portrayed perfectly. Now I will say I had one problem with this story. I absolutely hated that their sexual tension was focused on right in the beginning after the death. Ugh! It just didn’t sit right with me. Otherwise, nothing bad to say about this story. All emotion was very well portrayed throughout. Our lovely narrator, Kristen James, did an amazing job giving each individual character their own voice and personality. I literally watched each scene play out in my mind’s eye.

The production of Reign of Fire was great. The story was told smoothly. All in all, this story drew me in completely. Honestly, I just begged for more information when it was over. The story line is absolutely perfect. I wouldn’t be surprised if it were true. Ha! I’m not crazy about politics and I felt like I related to these characters so much. I really do need more. Preferably sooner rather than later. I hope everyone falls in love with this book and its characters as much as I did.

Wow! Casi McLean has wowed me with her amazing writing again!

I seriously can’t begin to say how much I love Beneath The Lake. I used to live in Georgia until last year and now I want to go check out that lake. If I wasn’t married, I would probably be wishing for that portal to open. Don’t let my husband know I said that! This story completely swept me away and stole my heart.

I have no idea how Casi wrote such an amazing story like Bobby and Maddy’s. I absolutely adored every last part of this book. Just so everyone knows, I normally don’t care for time travel-based books, but this book has officially given me a new perspective. I also didn’t have any problems keeping up with the clearly defined time jumps. Normally I would be lost. Casi did an amazing job creating such an enthralling tale with so much definition throughout.

Aundrea Mitchell was an amazing choice for the narrator. I feel that each emotion was reflected perfectly through her voice. I felt Maddy’s pain and determination as if it were my own. The overall production of audio was perfect. The whole story flowed so perfectly.

Seriously, if you haven’t bought this book yet, buy it now! I promise you will absolutely love it. This is one story that I cannot imagine I would ever forget. I’m pretty sure I fell in love with Bobby Reynolds. Maddy May have a run for her money with that one. I am super stoked to read the next installment, Beyond the Mist. I’m not sure how Casi can make this series any better at this point, but I cannot wait to see.

Benjamin Fife has always had a passion for learning. With a mind that remembers all sorts of numbers and useless trivia, he regularly wins local radio shows and enjoys confusing people with sci-fi quotes.

Fife grew up in Southeast Idaho. He attended college at Idaho State University, where he met his future wife in their music theory class. They have been married nearly 20 years and now have six children and a whole menagerie of animals. When their oldest daughter was three or four years old they started reading aloud from novels every night at bedtime, and have continued the tradition ever since. The family loves exploring various worlds and topics through Fife’s wonderful reading skills, which get better every year. I certainly did not know what to expect with Netherfield. Yet again Maria Grace captures my heart with this installment.

Elizabeth and Darcy are seriously amazing! They make the perfect couple and are the best characters for this storyline. The dragons are also amazing. I absolutely love how much Maria draws me in to her stories and makes me feel like I am one with the characters. This series is more than I had ever expected.

Benjamin Fife truly rocks as a narrator. Seriously each character is distinctly different in this story. I am super happy with how well he does in this narration of Netherfield. The overall production is great as well. Honestly the flow from book to book was seem less. I honestly need more. This series is one of my favorite that I have read in a long time.

So now to Longbourn. I love this book. I won’t lie though I really wanted to slap Elizabeth around at the beginning, but then she grew some balls… you know what I mean! Once she got a backbone towards a few characters, I couldn’t help but root for her. Now Mr. Darcy also annoyed me a bit. He was always putting things off. When he finally came around, I just wanted to scream that it was about Damn time! Ugh! Honestly though the story wouldn’t have been as good as it was without their hesitant behaviors.

Now as far as the writing itself, Maria Grace is absolutely amazing! Seriously, not a bad thing to say. She does an amazing job at bringing the characters to life. The characters have so much palpable emotion which I know could not have been portrayed properly without the help of our amazing narrator, Benjamin Fife! This dynamic duo makes this book absolutely perfect!

The production is was perfect, no hiccups throughout that I can recall. I honestly just cannot wait to read the next installment. If you love the classics and have a love of all things paranormal then you won’t want to miss out on this enchanting series. It’s absolutely amazing! Oh, and can’t forget our dragon friends! This story wouldn’t be the same without them. I love the dragons… well most of them.

Pemberley was truly a delight to read. I won’t lie I was skeptical about a classic such as Jane Austen’s tale retold with Dragons involved. I am truly sold on the series now! It brings new meaning to the entire story. I honestly can’t get enough.

I thought the original version was magical, but honestly, I had no idea just how magical it could get. As a young girl I spent hours watching the classics: Pride and Prejudice, Romeo and Juliet, and so many more. I am sad to say I wasn’t big into reading back then. Each classic stole a piece of my heart and left we with many fond memories. This story will now become part of these memories that I hold so dear.

Pemberley: Mr. Darcy’s Dragon is extremely well written. Maria Grace has an amazing talent when it comes to creating this reimagined classic. There is so much emotion felt in each word, which I am sure is in part to our amazing narrator, Benjamin Fife. Each part of the story flowed beautifully. There is a ton of adventure to be had from this story. It was very easy to tell when the story was focused on each individual character. I felt as if I was right there experiencing all the heartache, joy and angst with the characters, among many other emotions. I honestly can’t imagine this story being told by a better pair than Maria and Benjamin.

The production overall was amazing as well. As mentioned earlier, everything just flowed perfectly. There were evens cracks of thunder in the recording. I love the added effects. This experience from the author and narrator all the way to the production was absolutely perfect. I am so glad I was able to enjoy and review such an amazing story. I absolutely cannot wait time read more about these Dragons and their Keepers. The story can only get better from here.

Outrush is a very well written addition to this book. From the beginning curve balls were thrown at each of these characters. This strategy allowed for plenty of adventure and angst.

This installment focuses on Maya and her tangled web she began in the previous installment of the series. Aiden and Stuart both play pivotal parts in this story, as well as Stuart’s father. This installment brings more of a human spin on this book than I felt the other books did. Personally, I craved the sections that took me into fantasy siren land.

This installment also takes a detour into Peter’s life and clearly states that there is more information to come than what we have ever received on him in the past. That’s certainly something you don’t want to miss.

Errin Stevens did a good job with the writing of this installment. Stevens was able to portray such a variety of emotions through each character. Each scene draws the reader further in and keeps them intrigued. Sean Posvistak is an amazing narrator. Truly, when it comes to a book with tons of characters to differentiate and emotions at every turn you need a strong narrator and Posvistak is definitely that narrator.

Overall the production went quite well. I did get lost a few times, but I’m not sure if that was my audio after I paused and started back up or what. Overall, I liked this book. I wish I had seen a little more growth from Maya as a character, but the book and series make up a wonderful group of tales.
